Caleb Walder is a registered architect and educator who joined Marlon Blackwell Architects in the fall of 2021 as a return to full-time practice. He was formerly a faculty member at California Baptist University (CBU) where he contributed to the development of a NAAB accredited Master of Architecture degree program. At CBU, he taught a wide range of design and technology courses, including a comprehensive design studio, from which one of his students won the ACSA/AIA COTE Top Ten design competition.
Caleb has practice experience in California and Illinois on all phases of design and project delivery. He has an interest in holistically sustainable architecture with a focus on K-12 school design. His work is a pursuit of architecture at the intersection of design and research for human flourishing. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal.
