University of Arkansas
Will began working with Marlon Blackwell Architect in August 2010 after graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Architecture in 2009. Will’s role within the office includes project management, and technology deployment within the firm. While in school he gained valuable experience in parametric design software and attended Bentley’s Smart Geometry Conference and Autodesk’s Autodesk University (2010, 2011). His expertise with design software has brought new technology to the firm in the areas of 3d modeling, rendering, digital design/fabrication, 3d printing, and rapid prototyping.
As well as working at Marlon Blackwell Architect, Will gives presentations at the University of Arkansas School of Architecture concerning digital design techniques to both students and professors. In 2009 he founded deprocess.org; a website that specializes in teaching contemporary digital design techniques to architecture students and professionals. He also has a background in architectural photography, software/hardware development, server deployment, and web design.
