Paul joined the team at MBA in March 2019 after spending 6 years in Chicago studying, teaching, and practicing architecture. He has worked as an editor and designer for numerous publications and exhibitions, including Log 39, 40, and 41, Anyspace’s inaugural exhibition “This Future Has a Past” in NYC, and the exhibitions “Collective City” (2015 Shenzhen Biennale) and “In Search for an Architectural Urbanism” (2016 Lisbon Architecture Triennial) both for the Visionary Cities Project directed by Alexander Eisenschmidt. His writings have appeared in Log, The Modernist Magazine, and FM Journal. In 2017 he joined Skidmore Owings & Merrill in Chicago where he worked on many small and large-scale projects around the world including the new Webank Headquarters in Shenzhen. Navigating a broad field of ideas, words, and references his work demonstrates ways of thinking and working that spans various design media: drawings and writings, plans and details, images and pictures, personas and products.
