1995
A 30' x 130' single family house that proposes to address issues of living
between two disparate and volatile conditions - land and water. Set in
land areas located along navigable waterways and lakes with active flood
plains this prototype attempts to respond by rethinking the nature of
dwelling. Here the relationship between structure, land, and water is
conceived in an integrated manner. An elevated site cast concrete structure
supports the living areas of metal framing clad with an industrial metal
panel system.
