Fayetteville, Arkansas, 1994

A new 4080 sq.ft. 'Hybrid' structure with two stables (480 sq.ft.) and a horse paddock (3600 sq.ft.); an automotive garage (2400 sq.ft.); and a second level living area (1200 sq.ft.). The structure is located on 8 acres on a wooded bluff 120 feet above the Illinois River valley facing southwest. The project incorporates pole barn construction techniques and simple materials of marine-grade plywood, fir timbers, sandblasted concrete block and ribbed galvalume metal siding.
